over 1000 hills of 30-50meters high just stay still in the middle of the Bohol Island. The origin of these gigantic chocolates is not known, but there are some nice legends; two giants' fight throwing rocks and sands formed them, or a poor young man's dried tears for his lost love became these hills.
An amazing view changes color every moment with the sunlight.

高さ30m～50mの円錐形の丘、その数1000以上。毎年4月から6月頃に、丘を覆う草が茶色に変わるところからこの名前がついた。
巨大なチョコレートがどうやって造られたのかは、明らかになっていない。海底火山の噴火、石灰岩層の風化といった説は複数、また、２人の巨人が医師と砂を投げ合った喧嘩の後とか、恋に破れた青年の涙が丘になったという説も、地元の人たちによって語り継がれている。
